Kipa stores your vault locally, so reinstalling is not a troubleshooting step to take before securing a backup.

Camera and scanning

Check camera access, automatic page detection, multi-page scanning, and photo attachments.

Face ID or fingerprint

Device biometrics must first be enrolled in iOS or Android settings before Kipa lock can be enabled.

Backup and transfer

Kipa creates password-protected backup and transfer files that you choose where to save or share.

Delete local data

Delete individual items inside Kipa. Removing the app also removes its local vault, subject to operating-system behavior.
