Local storage and your responsibility
Kipa stores your vault locally and does not provide cloud recovery. You are responsible for protecting your device, remembering backup passphrases, and keeping current encrypted backups. Kipa cannot recover a forgotten passphrase or a vault lost with a device.
Reminders
Kipa reminders depend on operating-system permissions, device settings, battery policies, time-zone changes, and available storage. Do not rely on Kipa as the only source for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or statutory deadlines.
Scanning and OCR
Optical character recognition can make mistakes. You must review titles, dates, amounts, and other extracted information before saving or acting on it.
Purchases
Annual and lifetime products, prices, trials, renewals, cancellation, and refunds are handled by the applicable app store. A subscription renews according to the terms shown by the store unless canceled through the store account. A lifetime purchase applies to the supported Kipa app under the purchasing store account.
Acceptable use
You may use Kipa for lawful personal purposes. You may not misuse the app, bypass purchase controls, distribute modified copies, or use it to violate another person's rights.
Availability
Features may change as operating systems and store requirements change. No software can be guaranteed error-free or continuously available.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Kipa is provided without warranties beyond rights that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be included with an app update. Questions can be sent through the support form. The final legal entity, postal address, governing-law language, and jurisdiction-specific consumer notices must be added after qualified legal review and before public release.
